About DFW Conversations

‘Digital Fashion Week Conversations’ (DFWC) is a series of virtual conversations presenting roundtables with fashion designers, key opinion leaders, international fashion media and fashion-industry executives; hosted on DFW’s new ‘People’ community platform (www.People.DigitalFashionWeek.com) and Facebook Live.

First in Asia, since 2012, Digital Fashion Week (DFW) emerged as the trendsetter with a strong belief in the digitalisation of fashion businesses; connecting independent designers, high-profiled fashion personalities and international fashion media on one single platform.

Embracing technology, despite the uncertainty of current times, Charina Widjaja, founder and CEO of DFW Creative, remains steadfastly committed to the core mission and as such sets out to launch, yet again, Asia’s first integrated platform.

“We strive to empower designers in coping and making a comeback in the industry,” says Charina Widjaja. “With this new integrated platform, we will be enabling independent designers to connect and work hand-in-hand with the high-profiled fashion personalities to create the re-imagined digital experience; affordable to the end consumer, globally.”

‘Digital Fashion Week Conversations’ (DFWC) is the first step in this new enhancement. DFWC is a series of virtual conversations through digital events hosted on DFW’s new platform and Facebook Live; presenting roundtables with fashion designers, key opinion leaders, international fashion media and fashion-industry executives. The session will cover a wide range of topics related to the fashion industry such as ‘coping with the new digital norm’ and ‘digital sales, would it create more opportunities or negative impact?’

“Every fashion week should be digital in this way”, said Naomi Campbel in 2012 during the Digital Fashion Week press conference. Since DFW has supported over 300 designers internationally and is committed to once again reignite the fashion community as a whole.

Fashion enthusiasts alike are encouraged to be part of this new digital experience and community, ‘People’ by first signing up for an account and start interacting, gain rewards and #supportfashionbusinesses. More features to be released in the next two quarters of 2020.
